Stocks Farm Oast is one mile away from the village of Wittersham, with its 13th Century Church and popular village pub. The charming and historical town of Rye, with its winding cobble street, wide variety of restaurants and antique shops, is four miles to the south. The beaches of Camber Sands are also close by. They are perfect for both long walks in the winter and lazy summer days on the beach. The picturesque market town of Tenterden is five miles away to the north. Here you will find plenty of delightful, individual shops and also the steam railway. Local produce is also available at the various Farmers' Markets and in the farm shops around and about, including homemade jams and chutneys, honey from Kent bees, delicious bread as well as locally grown seasonal fruit and vegetables. Fresh caught fish can be bought from Rye.
